Junior Scholars Recognized

Six Middle School of Pacolet students were recognized as Junior Scholars because of their excellent academic achievements.

From the Principal

The count continues to grow and our students have read close to 2000 books thus far.  It is exciting to see students read and to hear them talk with teachers, and each other, about books they have read.  Some of their favorite authors are - R.L. Stine; Darren Shan; J.K. Rowling; Stephanie Meyer; and Lois Duncan.

Our teachers have enjoyed such authors as James Patterson; Nicholas Sparks; and Danielle Steele, to name a few.

What are you reading?  Share your thoughts about what you read with your children, it will start great conversations!

Keep reading and writing!!!
